This research is based on interviews with six women who often shop under time pressure. The conversations explored how they choose outfits, where doubt appears, and why existing shopping experiences fail to support fast, confident decisions.
Insights from the Interviews
Clarity matters more than choice
When time is limited, users prefer fewer, more relevant options over browsing through endless alternatives.
Confidence declines the longer decisions are delayed.
The longer users hesitate, the more they doubt their choices, as uncertainty grows with every extra step.
Time pressure changes how people make decisions.
Under time pressure, users stop exploring and instead look for fast confirmation and a clear next step.

Most fashion platforms address only parts of the problem:
• Google Shopping - shows what’s in stock.
• Pinterest - shows what looks good.
• Stylists - suggest outfits.
